This is THE FIRST recipe I made when I started experimenting with healthier versions of the sweets I love <3
I love them. My son loves them. They're SO easy to make. And far healthier than any chocolate chip cookies you'll find anywhere else!
I literally make two batches of these weekly...because yes, we eat that many! ;)
-2 ripe bananas
-1 cup oats
-1/4 cup dark chocolate chips
-1/4 cup almond pieces
-1 tsp vanilla extract
-cinnamon to taste
Halve bananas in mixing bowl.
Smash up. (I use a banana masher...makes life SO much easier!)
Add oats, cinnamon & vanilla extract.
Add almonds & chocolate chips.
Drop onto greased cookie sheet.
Batch makes 13-15 cookies depending on how large you make them.
*Optional: You can flatten them a bit with a fork like I do!
Cook for 15-17 minutes.
*Optional: For additional crispiness, broil on high for an additional 2-3 minutes.
These are super kid friendly...my son LOVES them!
They have a different consistency than a normal cookie, but I think that should be pretty obvious!
Oh, and p.s. 3 of these = 1 yellow container for the 21 Day Fix :)
