Let's face it. We all love ice cream. Really, who DOESN'T love ice cream? No one. That's who. And for the most part, we all love bananas. If you don't, sorry, but I think you're crazy and I'm not sure we can be friends anymore.
So you may find your inner healthy brain battling yourself whenever that craving for it comes sneaking up.
Well, good news! Here's a super simple, super healthy way to satisfy your craving without racking up the calories!
(Well, technically step 1 is to cut up and freeze your banana.)
Assuming this is already complete, place your frozen banana pieces into a food processor.
Process until it becomes a creamy consistency. This may take a few times of taking off the lid and pushing down the sides with a spoon.
Feel free to add in mix ins! This can be fruit, peanut butter, dark chocolate chips, etc. As you can see below, I chose to put in 2 tsp peanut butter, and topped it with 1 tsp dark chocolate chips.
