When I was growing up, just the mere thought of brussel sprouts made me cringe. Why? I have no clue. Maybe the fact that they're known to make you gassy (yeah, that's the truth) and that ALL kids don't like them...but once I actually tried them, I had that "holy crap, I've been missing these all these years?!" moment.
I bet so many of you still have that view too! Well, prepare to enter a world where you actually LIKE brussel sprouts! Cause I'm about to change your world!
-1 pound brussel sprouts
-1 tbsp minced garlic
-2 tbsp olive oil
-1 tsp lemon juice
-1/4 cup parmesan cheese
-salt/pepper to taste
Wash the brussel sprouts (obviously.)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Cut off end of brussel sprouts and remove outer leaves.
Coat brussel sprouts with all ingredients except parmesan.
**TIP** Combine all ingredients in a big plastic bag and shake!
Place on baking sheet and roast for 20 minutes.
After 20 minutes is up, remove brussel sprouts and sprinkle parmesan cheese.
Roast for an additional 5 minutes.
Seriously, you'll want to eat these babies like candy. I've made a few other recipes before, but this one in the bomb-diggity. So, pretty much, you're welcome ;)
