Okay, so I'm from Buffalo, NY. Yes, the land of Buffalo chicken wings. I have high standards when it comes to these bad boys, so you can imagine mine and my husband's disappointment when we moved to Fort Hood, TX.
So, after countless disappointments, what have we figured out? How to make our own! And guess what, they might not be EXACTLY what you'd get in Buffalo, but they're pretty damn close, SUPER EASY to make, and A LOT healthier than deep fried wings! ;)
But sorry vegans and vegetarians, this recipe is not for you!
-15(ish) chicken wings
-1/2 - 3/4 cup BBQ sauce
-2-3 tbsp honey
Set oven to broil (high).
Line chicken wings on a baking sheet & cook for 30 minutes.
After 30 minutes, flip over wings.
Broil for another 20-30 minutes.
Keep checking them to make sure you're not overdoing them!
If you want them even crispier, place chicken wings on grill for 5 minutes after broiling!
After you've reached desired crispiness, combine BBQ & honey in a mixing bowl.
Put wings in the sauce and toss.
These are SO SUPER DUPER EASY to make and they're a way healthier option
than going out to a restaurant and buying them!
They are absolutely delicious, and my toddler absolutely DEVOURS his!
Obviously, you'll want to choose a healthier BBQ sauce,
but honestly, I just use store brand stuff!
