Warmer weather is finally coming! (Which you wouldn't know from my last recipe post!)
But with warm weather, usually comes ice cream and frozen yogurt trips with loved ones and/or kiddos.
Here's a super easy, 5 minute frozen yogurt recipe that will leave your whole family wanting more!
-2 cups frozen cherries
-1/2 cup plain, non-fat greek yogurt
-1 tbsp honey
-2 tsp chocolate chips (or a little more *wink*)
Add cherries, yogurt and honey into food processor.
Process for 5 minutes or so until creamy and blended.
*You may have to stop and push sides down with a spoon a few times*
Add in chocolate chips.
Stir in or blend for 10 seconds.
Put into a container and freeze.
After 30-60 minutes, remove from freezer and serve.
And top with a few extra chocolate chips ;)
Seriously, this was SO easy to make, and so fast!
You can pronouce all of the ingredients, and there's only a few of them!
This is definitely kid approved. See below.

We all know that we need protein in our diet, and yes, there are PLENTY of ways to get enough of it.....
But why not add one more :)
These little protein bites are super easy to make, customize, and are delicious to eat! And the best part to us Momma's?
Totally kid tested, healthy mom approved!
For this recipe, I made 2 different kinds.
You DO NOT need every single ingredient listed in the photo. (Unless you want to make both!)
I've split up the pictures and ingredients onto different sides of the blog. The left photos are oatmeal raisin bites. The right photos are chocolate cherry coconut bites.
The directions are the same for each!
Add and grind oats, almonds and cherries/raisins in food processor.
(The first picture I did it a little TOO long, the second is just right.
They both will turn out the same though!)
Add all other ingredients and process until sticky.
(The first picture is REALLY sticky, the second is a little less sticky than it should be.
The stickier, the easier it is to roll topping on!)
Using a tablespoon, scoop out mixture and divide evenly.
Roll each into a ball, and set on a baking sheet with wax paper (optional) before proceeding to the next step.
(The oatmeal raisin bites make 6-8 per batch.
The coconut chocolate cherry bites make 8-10 per batch.)
Take a separate wax sheet and spread either the chopped almonds/coconut flakes.
Roll the bites until coated.
**Remember, the stickier the mixture/bites, the easier it is to do this!
***This is also optional!
Put in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours.
Once the times up, ENJOY! :)
As I said, these are super easy to customize. You can use any dried fruit in place of the raisins or cherries. You can choose to use protein powder, or you can choose not to. You can choose to add more/less of different kinds of nuts. And you can choose what you'd like to coat each bite in, or you can choose to leave them plain!
